Presently retired but has held long standing legal and managerial positions with BCTC, WMPTE, WMPTA, Travel WM and National Express.

Over the years he has gained Knowledge and experience of the Courts and Employment Tribunals.

He holds an Honours Degree in Punjabi, a Scholarship in Religious Studies and various certificates in H&S and Public Relations.

Volunteer work includes working with the Citizens Advice Bureau, Governor of two local schools, NHS Trust Member and various roles within GNNSJ. He is also a Trustee of the  Nishkam Education Trust, member of the League of Friends at City Hospital, and member of the North West Neighbourhood Community Forum.
